1. What foods does this machine work with?
This multifunctional machine packages several food goods. Ready-to-eat pasta, rice, and multi-component meals benefit from it. It also goes nicely with salads, chopped vegetables, meat, poultry, and seafood. They benefit from Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) technology, which keeps them fresh and extends shelf life. Sandwiches, tofu, and other tray-sealed foods are also possible.
2. Does the machine handle various tray shapes and sizes?
Yes, it can. We made this machine versatile to match your needs. It can accommodate round, square, and rectangular trays with PP, PET, and CPET materials. When you join with us, our engineers will understand your product needs. The tray dispenser and sealing molds will be customized to match your package. This versatility lets you use one machine for multiple product lines, which is wonderful.
3. How does MAP work?
The MAP system safeguards food quality. Vacuum and gas flush are the major procedures. First, the machine vacuums the tray to eliminate practically all ambient air, including oxygen, which spoils food. Secondly, it flushes the tray with a food-grade gas mixture of nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and sometimes oxygen. This new atmosphere slows bacterial development, reduces oxidation, and preserves food color, texture, and flavor.
4. What happens during installation and training?
Smartpack offers full installation and training to maximize your investment. After the machine arrives, our technical staff will install and integrate it into your manufacturing line. After installation, we train operators and maintenance workers extensively. This course covers machine operation, safety, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Your staff should be confident and competent to run the equipment safely and efficiently.
5. What maintenance does the machine need?
SUS304 stainless steel is used to build the equipment for durability and low maintenance. Maintenance is easy and necessary for maximum operation. Our CIP (Clean-in-Place) system simplifies machine cleaning, notably the sealing head and product contact areas. Weekly and monthly examinations assess moving parts, pneumatic connections, and safety measures. Our maintenance handbook and schedule are extensive, and our global support network can help with technical issues and spare parts.
