A frozen food packaging line is a system designed to package frozen foods efficiently and effectively. It typically involves multiple stages, including primary packaging, secondary packaging, labeling, and palletizing.
Primary Packaging: This stage involves the initial packaging of the product, such as weighing, filling, sealing frozen food products in bags or pouches.
Secondary Packaging: Involves placing the primary packaged items into boxes or containers for further protection and easier handling.
Labeling: Adding labels that provide information about the product, such as nutritional facts, expiry dates, and branding.
Palletizing: Stacking and securing packages on pallets for storage and transportation.
Let’s have a look at our case of frozen food packaging machines system.

Packaging Solutions
The frozen seafood packaging system is consisted of several machines:
1. Infeed conveyor
The process begins with the incline conveyor, which transports the frozen seafood from the initial preparation area to the packaging line. This conveyor ensures a steady and controlled flow of products, maintaining a consistent pace for subsequent operations.
2. Multihead weigher
Next, the multihead weigher accurately measures the seafood portions. Utilizing multiple weighing heads, it can quickly and precisely determine the correct weight for each portion, optimizing both speed and accuracy in the packaging process.
3. Rotary pouch packing machine
Following the weighing process, the seafood portions are transferred to the rotary pouch packing machine. This machine efficiently forms, fills, and seals pouches with the weighed seafood, ensuring each package is securely closed and ready for further inspection.
4. Inspection system
Once the pouches are sealed, they pass through an inspection system which is equipped with a metal detector and checkweigher. This system checks each package for any traces of metal contaminants, automatically rejecting any packages that do not meet the quality standards.
5. Parallel robot (Box packing)
The inspected and approved pouches are then handled by a parallel robot, which performs the box packing operation. This robot carefully places the pouches into designated carton boxes, ensuring optimal arrangement and minimizing the risk of damage during transportation.
6. Carton erector
The carton erector constructs the carton boxes from flat cardboard sheets. This machine folds and secures the boxes, preparing them to receive the packed pouches. Once erected, the boxes move on to the next stage of the process.
7. Carton sealing machine
After the pouches are placed in the carton boxes, the carton sealing machine comes into play. This machine automatically applies adhesive tape or glue to securely seal the tops and bottoms of the cartons, ensuring that the contents are safely enclosed. It can handle a variety of box sizes and sealing methods, providing flexibility and reliability. This step is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the packages during handling and transportation.
This comprehensive system integrates each step seamlessly, ensuring the frozen seafood is packaged efficiently and safely, maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the process.
