What is multihead weigher?
The concept of multihead weigher is the ultimate way to reduce manual labor and improve accuracy when it comes to weighing products.
Installation of the multihead weighers
When you receive the multihead weighing machine from overseas, you need to do some simple installation after open the crate. The installation sequence as below:
1. Install the discharge chute
2. Install the linear feeding pan
3. Install feed hoppers (longer hopper)
4. Install weigh hoppers (short hopper)
5. Install in-feed funnel
Multihead weigher first operation
When you finish the installation, you need to do the calibration of all weigh hoppers before weighing. There is a 1kg counterweight in the tool box, take it out then follow up to calibrate the weigh hoppers!
1. Power on the multihead weighing machine with right voltage, press Zero ensure nothing in the hoppers.
2. Enter the Calibration Page
3. Select the number 1, press 0.0g Cali. Put a standard weight (≤1000g) in the no. 1 weigh hopper, and then press 1000g Cali for calibration, calibration success will be showed on the screen if calibration success.
4. Calibrate the rest weigh hoppers by the same way.
ATTENTION: The whole calibration procedure must be done under the condition that there is no wind and vibration and the operator must be trained and professional.
